And while I'm at it, what is up with this nonsense with fireworks at New Years? I mean, it's all very well for southern places, like Texas, where they're all crazy anyway, but up in the north it's damn cold. Why on earth would you want to go OUTSIDE in the cold to watch the fireworks?

It turns into a frog and hops away.
Which is why you should be careful about which frogs you kiss, since they might not turn into princes, they might turn into giraffes.

For the record: The Giraffe did NOT get drunk this year.
And she'll sing karaoke Lionel Richee songs if the mood takes her.

Happy New Year and more hugs. This was a good way to spend New Years - picked up the kids just after midnight and came home, then awoke this morning to 2 more inches of snow outside. It's a good day to stay inside, curled up with a mocha and my laptop.
